Healing Asthma

We have been fortunate to have the opportunity to work with Dr. Mercer for almost a year now.  When we met her last summer, our young son had severe asthma that meant terrifying and frequent ER visits. Steroid use had led to challenging behavior.

Dr. Mercer took the time to look at our son’s whole picture, to figure out what remedy might best help him.  It was not easy to be around our son at that time, yet she was calm, patient and not judgmental.  She was very professional yet at the same time it was clear she sincerely cared about helping him out of this difficult pattern.

About two months after we began working with Dr. Mercer, my son had his first cold without serious asthma. By November he no longer needed any steroids.  While he still uses an inhaler (bronchodilator) in addition to his homeopathic remedy when sick, he has not had trouble breathing for 10 months now.  We have not been to the hospital since working with Dr. Mercer.  His behavior has also changed for the better.  He is able to focus now, is not aggressive, and often happy!

It has been life changing for us to work with Dr. Mercer.  I want to share this because I'd love for other families to be spared the grief we experienced before beginning our son's healing.

Life Without Vertigo

I wanted to take a moment to thank you personally for leading me towards a healthier, happier daily lifestyle.  I had been suffering from vertigo symptoms for almost four years off and on, and had sought a solution through my family doctor, as well as an Ear, Nose and Throat specialist, with no direct results. My massage therapist Marin Seguel recommended you, and I am so thankful she did.

Lastly, you discovered I have celiac disease and that it has been the root cause of my stomach disorder.  I have been gluten free for over a year, have lost 15 pounds, and am healthier and feel better than I have in years.  You asked me once during a consultation session nine months ago how I felt my health progress was going. I answered that if I could continue to feel as good as I do now, I would be totally satisfied. You smiled and told me that it was completely possible, and with incremental improvements, you were right.  I am continuing to feel better as I bring any health issues to you.

Pain Free with Psoriatic Arthritis

Dr. Nancy Mercer is one of the best doctors I have seen in my lifetime. She has been successful in treating two major medical conditions for me that had been dismissed by standard Western medicine and regular naturopathic medicine as not curable. She listens to you and considers the whole person before she decides what treatment plans will work.
